Chuck Eastman
I gave a special shout out to my wife and my parents at my retirement ceremony because I literally put them through hell for 20 years. They were just constantly worried about me and I just didn’t understand it. I was doing my job…But, boy, I look at my son now and I’m like, ‘If he joins the military and goes on deployments…I don’t even know what I’m gonna do with myself.
Chuck retired from the U.S. Army in 2017 as a 20-year Army veteran who served in the 75 th Ranger Regiment, Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), and the 160 th Special Operations Aviation Regiment where he retired as an AH-6 Littlebird pilot. After transitioning from the Army, Chuck worked with L3 Harris on their Future Vertical Lift efforts until discovering Stop Soldier Suicide and learning about their unique approach to solving service member and veteran suicide. Chuck now leads Stop Soldier Suicide’s strategic partnership efforts. He collaborates with community organizations, allies, partner organizations, and referral sources to acquire high-risk clients, validate quality service partners, and promote the Stop Soldier Suicide brand. Chuck and his wife Marjorie have been married for 17 years, and have one son, Henk. They live happily in Cary, NC.
